Welcome to Universikid by BIMBI WORLDWIDE SL (“BIMBI”, the “Company”, “we”, “us” or “our”). Universikid is a website platform and app that publishes educational courses for children. BIMBI operates Universikid and is fully committed to protecting the privacy and security of its visitors, especially the privacy of children who visit Universikid. Whenever BIMBI provides you with services, it may collect information about you and about your use of the platform. We are the data controller of this information and we decide what your personal information is used for, and the ways in which it is processed.
We would like you to know that we do not knowingly collect any personal data from children under the age of 16 and that we strongly encourage that children’s online activity is supervised by parents or guardians. Universikid allows parents and guardians to create an account (the “User Account”), which can be used to purchase educational online courses for their children and to take the courses through the website and the app (the “Services”).

This policy (the “Privacy Policy”) describes the information we collect from visitors and users, the ways in which we collect it, how we use it, the circumstances in which we may disclose information about you and the children who use your User Account and your rights in relation to the information we hold.

The personal information that BIMBI collects is used for providing and improving the Services. BIMBI will not use or share your information with anyone except as described in this Privacy Policy. Our Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern all use of our Services and together with the Privacy Policy constitutes your agreement with us (“Agreements”).
By accessing, purchasing, or using our Services you agree, are bound to and expressly consent to our collection, use, and disclosure of the information that you provide as described in this Policy. INFORMATION WE COLLECT
1.Personal Information provided by you
In order to access Universikid and use the Services a parent or guardian of a child will be asked to create a User Account for which the parent or guardian will need provide the following information about themselves:
- Username
- Email address
- Age
- Date of birth
- Country of residence.
2.Using Universikid or Services
We collect information about you that you knowingly submit to us, for example:
- Reviews, comments and votes you publicly post on Universikid.
- When you make a purchase.
3.Emails and other communications
We collect all information you provide including personal information when you get in touch with Universikid or BIMBI (and vice versa) and other messaging or email functions.

When you access Universikid or log in we receive and store the following information automatically:

CHILDREN’S PRIVACY
BIMBI encourages parents and guardians to supervise their child’s online activity. We urge parents to tell their children to never give out their real names, addresses, phone numbers, or other personal information without a parent’s or guardian’s permission when using internet. We endeavour to comply with applicable privacy and data protection laws and recognise a special obligation to protect personal information obtained from children and by design do not collect this information. Therefore, BIMBI does not request, collect, or store any personal information knowingly from children under the age of 16.
In compliance with applicable laws, we have adopted the following policies to keep children safe and we will not knowingly:
- collect, use, or distribute personal information from children under the age of 16 without prior verifiable consent from a parent or guardian;
- ask a child under the age of 16 to divulge more information than is needed to take any Universikid courses;
- keep any personal information that is inadvertently included in a child’s e-mail submission, help inquiry, or other one-time request, if we know that the child is under the age of 16. Any such information will be deleted promptly after the issue has been resolved;
- post any personal information that is inadvertently included in a child’s submission to the users contribution area if we know that the child is under the age of 16. Upon notice to us, any of such submissions will be removed and handled anonymously thereafter;
- provide any direct link to websites that are unusable for children.
If you are a parent or guardian of a child who is under the age of 16 and you become aware that your child has provided us with the information without your consent, please contact us at info@universikid.com. Upon your request, we will delete such information from our records within a reasonable time.
HOW WE USE YOUR INFORMATION
- To manage your registration as a user, create a User Account, to identify you and give you access to user specific Services.
- To enable you to review, comment and vote regarding your Universikid purchases.
- To communicate information about new services, new features, promotions, newsletters which you can opt-out anytime.
- To send you administrative messages and information regarding amendments to Universikid, Services and changes to the Privacy Policy or Terms and Conditions.
- For the technical functioning for our platform and Services, including but not limited to analyse and resolve issues, secure their proper functioning, and prevent fraud, abuse or any other criminal activity.
- To reply to requests, enquiries, and issues you send us.
THIRD PARTIES' USE OF YOUR INFORMATION
1.Service Providers
We use the services of third parties who may collect information used to identify you. Furthermore, we may also employ third party entities and / or individuals to facilitate our Services (the “Third Parties”), provide Services on our behalf, perform Service-related services or assist us in analysing how our Services are used. For example, entities that automate transactions between a customer and a merchant (the “Payment Processors”, and together with Third Parties, the “Service Providers”). When paying for the Services we will not store or collect your payment card details. That information is provided directly to our Payment Processors.
Service Providers and Payment Processors have access to your personal information only to perform these tasks on our behalf and are obligated not to disclose or use it for any other purpose. They operate under their own Terms and conditions and privacy policies, so we suggest you refer to their respective websites.

DATA RETENTION PERIOD
We will retain your personal information for as long as you have a registered User Account on Universikid. Upon User Account closure your data will be removed from our servers.

BIMBI is located in Spain. This means that your information will be processed in Spain. However, as described in the previous section, we may share some of your information with the Service Providers or some of your information may be directly collected by the Service Providers, who may be located, or use IT equipment located in, countries different to that in which your information is collected or to that in which you are located. Where this is the case, we will take steps to ensure that your information receives an equivalent level of protection.
If you are in Spain, or European Economic Area (EEA):
Processing your information in countries outside the EEA involves transferring your information outside the EEA. Some of our Service Providers are based outside the EEA, so their processing of your personal information will involve a transfer of information outside the EEA. This Privacy Policy applies only to Universikid and its Services. Occasionally, you will see links from Universikid to independently owned, controlled, and / or managed websites whose content we believe will be of possible interest and value to our visitors. Additionally, you will see links from advertisers, sponsors, and other partners.
What we describe in this Privacy Policy does not apply to external websites. The links from our Services do not imply that we endorse or have reviewed such websites. Therefore, we recommend that you refer to such websites. Furthermore, we specifically recommend that children check with their parents or guardians before connecting to any third party sites.

YOUR RIGHTS AND OPTIONS
